Hideaway's Rabbitry is located in Western North Carolina. We specialize in Mini-Rex and have just a few English Lops. We attend rabbit shows about four times a year and really enjoy it. We encourage other breeders to become involved as well....great for kids in the youth program! Member of ARBA since 2017.

Lynn LooperOwner, Lynn Looper, earned her B.S. degree in Animal Science at the University of Delaware in 1979. Married to a successful farmer, Lynn has taught Agriculture, a vet tech program, worked in Animal Control and in a veterinarian office. She is the owner of Hideaway Kennels, a large boarding kennel business, located along side of the rabbitry. Lynn also has shown and bred Border Terriers since 1988. She is the AKC Gazette columnist & is licensed by the AKC to judge the breed.
New to showing rabbits, Lynn is thoroughly enjoying the more laid back atmosphere of the shows, how friendly everyone is to each other and especially the fact that the judges openly critique the buns so breeders know how to improve and enhance the quality of their rabbits. |
